The primary water transmission lines through the Town of Windham are located on NH Routes 28, 111, and 111A. The rights-of-way associated with these routes are owned and maintained by NHDOT. New water service connections requiring excavation within these rights-of-way required coordination with and approval from NHDOT Bureau of Highway Maintenance - District 5.
