The Town of Salem, NH seeks a Full time (37.50 hours/week) Dispatcher to receive and dispatch emergency and routine calls for the Salem Fire Department to protect the life and property of the citizens of the Town of Salem. The position requires accuracy, strong attention to detail, strong communication skills, data entry, and multitasking skills. The ideal candidate will be a high school graduate or equivalent with a minimum of one year of experience in a similar position, ability to remain calm in a crisis, and tech-savvy with knowledge of relevant methods (CAD).
Starting pay is $20.41/hour with holidays and paid time off benefits. Pre-employment testing will include educational and criminal background checks.
