The Town of Salem, NH seeks Part-Time (25 hours/week)-Full-Time in summer (37.50 hours/week) Community Services Coordinator. Responsible for the daily administration of programs for the Community Services Department. Must possess both management skills and thorough knowledge of public recreation/community services. Must provide programs that meet the needs of the community, which are the central focus for the direction of the Department. Performs a variety of duties and responsibilities focusing on the design, implementation, and delivery of the Community Services Department programs. This position requires sound coordinative, administrative, and communicative skills and the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.
The ideal candidate will be a college graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Physical Education, or related field with a minimum of three years’ experience in a similar position with Possession of a valid motor vehicle license.
Range Pay $26.42-29.00/hour based on experience with holidays and paid time off benefits. Pre-employment testing will include educational and criminal background.
