Members are elected annually in March for 3-year terms.
The Committee consists of seven at-large citizen members, two ex-officio members representing the Council and the School Board, and two alternates for the ex-officio members. The Council and the School Board appoint the ex officio members and their alternates. The at-large members are elected at the annual town elections in March. When an at-large position is vacant, new members may be appointed until the next annual election by a majority vote of the Committee.
