275th Anniversary Commission / Salembration
The purpose of the 275th Anniversary Commission is to plan, coordinate, and promote the celebrations of Salem's 275th anniversary, which will take place throughout the year 2025, with emphasis the premier 'Salembration' anniversary event to take place on Saturday, August 9, 2025

Charter Commission
The Charter Commission met in 2022 and 2023 to evaluate forms of government allowed in NH and draft the Town Charter. The Charter Commission no longer meets since the Town Charter was adopted at the 2023 Town Meeting. Charter amendments are now proposed through the Town Council and the Town Meeting process. This page serves as an archive for the historical Charter development process.

Master Plan Steering Committee
The Master Plan Steering Committee engages public input and provides direction and review of the process of developing a Master Plan for the Town. The Committee is responsible for establishing a strategy for public involvement, conducting public outreach, ensuring work is proceeding on schedule, and reviewing data, findings, and recommendations.
