Special Services

Responsibilities

The Special Services Division handles many administrative tasks for the Salem Police Department.

The Special Services Division is responsible for training, grants, drone operations, scheduling, community affairs/functions, animal control activities, department property management, fleet maintenance, problem area enforcement, property acquisition, building maintenance, traffic planning, and liaison between the Salem Police Department and Rockingham County Attorney’s office.

Staff

The Special Services Division consists of a Lieutenant, a Sergeant, a Fleet Maintenance/Scheduling Officer, a Training Officer, the Community Affairs Officer, the Community Problem-Oriented Policing Team, the Animal Control Officer, the Elder Affairs Officer, the crossing guards, and the building maintenance technician.
