Open Space Task Force

Overview

On October 2, 2024, the Conservation Commission created an ad-hoc Open Space Task Force for the purpose of working with the Rockingham Planning Commission (RPC) to update the Town’s 2010 Open Space Report. The Task Force will meet throughout 2025 to complete the update to to a new 'Conservation Commission Open Space Plan Update'. This document will serve to prioritize natural resources and identify and prioritize land for potential conservation protection.

Meetings

  • WHEN? The Open Space Task Force will meet on February 20, April 3, May 8, and June 5. All meetings will start at 5pm.  
    Additional meetings may be added or combined with a regular Conservation Commission meeting, as needed. To keep up to date, please view the Conservation Commission calendar linked below:
  • WHERE? Salem Town Hall, Knightly Meeting Room, 33 Geremonty Drive Salem, NH 03079
