Bridge & Culvert Reconstruction

The Engineering Division maintains a working inventory of 16 Municipally Managed bridges within Salem. Projects are planned and designed in accordance with NH Department of Transportation (NHDOT) Municipal Bridge Aid protocols. This page provides a listing of active design projects, active construction projects and completed Road Program projects. Since 2009 the Town has successfully completed reconstruction of 14 of its registered bridges in addition to 8 large culvert projects. The Town has also added new bridges and newly classified bridges to its inventory.
