Project Details
The Town of Salem completed reconstruction of an existing stone box culvert on Lawrence Road during the 2012 Lawrence Road roadway reconstruction project. The existing open bottom stone box culvert was replaced with a precast box culvert and associated wing walls. The new concrete structure was faced with the original stone in order to maintain the character of the surrounding area. The culvert carries the World End Brook across Lawrence Road and is located south of Seed Street in the area of open farm land.
